Mula Ancala was born from a simple idea: you do not need to be an expert to experience the outdoors.

We are two people who love exploring new places, hiking unfamiliar trails, discovering incredible landscapes, and learning along the way. We know what it feels like to stand at the beginning of an adventure without having all the answers - wondering what gear you actually need, how difficult a trail really is, or whether you are prepared to do it.

And that is why we created Mula Ancala.

Build From Real Adventures

We do not believe the outdoors should feel intimidating or reserved for experienced adventures. Our experiences have taken us through mountains, forests, waterfalls and places completely different from what we were used to. Some adventures have gone exactly as planned. Others have taught us things we wish we had known before we started.

These experiences are what we want to share here.

Mula Ancala is a place for practical hiking advice, honest gear recommendations, useful lessons and inspiration from real adventures - explaining in a way that makes sense when you are still figuring things out.

We are not here to pretend that we know everything.

In fact that is part of what Mula Ancala is about.

We are exploring, learning and improving with every adventure, and we want to bring you along for that journey. When we discover something useful, find a piece of gear that genuinely works, make a mistake worth learning from, or experience a place worth sharing, you will find it here.

No unnecessary complexity. No pretending you need the most expensive equipment. Just useful information from people who genuinely enjoy getting outside.

Start somewhere. Learn as you go. Respect the places you explore.

You do not need to climb the highest mountain or own a cupboard full of technical gear to call yourself an adventurer.

Sometimes adventure is simply choosing a trail you were never walked before and taking that first step.

We want Mula Ancala to help make that step a little easier.
